A Different Kind of Support

TMS TherapyWhen You’re Ready for It

If you’ve tried medication, therapy, or both—and you’re still not feeling like yourself—you’re not out of options. Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, or TMS, is an FDA-cleared, non-invasive treatment that offers a new path forward for people who haven’t found relief through traditional treatment alone.

At Serene Urgent Care and Mind Clinic, we understand that reaching this point often comes after a long road. We’re here to walk the next part of it with you.

FDA-Cleared: A well-researched, non-invasive treatment option — no surgery, no anesthesia, no systemic side effects.

Our Treatment Approach

A targeted, well-researched approach to mood regulation

TMS uses gentle, targeted magnetic pulses to stimulate areas of the brain associated with mood regulation. It’s a well-researched, FDA-cleared treatment option for adults with depression who have not responded to prior treatment approaches, and can also be used to support other mental health conditions.

Unlike medication, TMS doesn’t circulate through your entire body. It works locally, on the brain, without the systemic side effects some people experience with prescription treatments.

How It Works

Patient-centered, structured, and closely guided by your care team

Non-invasive

No surgery, no anesthesia, no sedation.

Outpatient

Sessions take place in our office; you can drive yourself home afterward.

Brief and structured

Each session lasts minutes; a full course runs several weeks, guided by your care team.

Collaborative

Your plan is developed and monitored alongside any other care you're receiving.

Every person’s experience with TMS is different, and outcomes vary. Our team will talk with you honestly about what TMS can offer, what to expect, and whether it may be a good fit for your specific situation.

Who Might Consider TMS

TMS may be worth exploring if you:

Have tried antidepressant medication without the results you'd hoped for

Are looking for a treatment option that doesn't involve systemic medication side effects

Want to explore additional support alongside therapy or other care

Are looking for treatment from a team that understands mental health as part of your whole-person care

A conversation with our team is the best way to find out if TMS is right for you.

Other Ways TMS May Support Your Care

Beyond depression, TMS is being used to support a growing range of conditions

Anxiety & Trauma-Related Distress

For people living with generalized anxiety or trauma-related flashbacks and distress, TMS may offer an additional layer of support alongside therapy and other treatment.

Sleep & Insomnia

TMS is also used to help support patients working through sleep disorders and insomnia, as part of a broader, individualized treatment approach.

Tobacco Reduction

For patients working to cut back on tobacco use, TMS may help support short-term reduction and craving control as part of a comprehensive quit plan.

Migraine

Using single-pulse TMS devices—a different application than the repetitive TMS used for mood support—TMS can offer acute relief during a migraine and may help lower how many migraine days you experience each month.

These applications vary in how they’re delivered and what they’re best suited for, so our clinical team will walk you through what’s appropriate for your specific needs before any treatment begins.

Why Serene Mind Clinic

Serene brings urgent care, primary care, and mental health care together under one roof, so your care team can see the full picture of your health — not just one piece of it. Our bilingual staff (English/Spanish) is here to make sure language is never a barrier to getting the support you deserve.

We know that seeking help for your mental health takes courage. We're honored to be part of that journey.
